Youth Pledge is commemorated on 28 octobers every year begun in the year 1928 up to now. Youth Pledge preced with rebellion Indonesia young boy that averse dutch government takes over Indonesia.
Youth Pledge has meaning deeply and strong for boy away back, Youth Pledge gives spirit and strength for Young people and Indonesian to struggle to oppose Dutch colonial. But now may be only a part boy that remember that words.

1. Kami Putra dan Putri Indonesia mengaku bertumpah darah satu Tanah air Indonesia
2. Kami Putra dan Putri Indonesia mengaku Berbangsa satu bangsa Indonesia
3. Kami Putra dan Putri Indonesia menjunjung tinggi bahasa persatuan bahasa Indonesia.
And in English language is:
1. we are boy and girls of Indonesia admits shared our blood for one, Indonesia’s fatherland
2. We are boy and girls of Indonesia admits nation one, Indonesian
3. We are boy and girls of Indonesia respect Indonesian unitary language, Indonesia language.
Although in every nations has different history, but for Indonesia youth day is the day where Indonesia show that only in one nation we struggle that is Indonesia country, and only in one our national language that we use to speak, it’s Indonesia Language, And only one fatherland that we fight for, it’s Indonesia.
Youth Pledge also a witness and symbol from Indonesian struggle figting for freedom of Indonesian from Dutch colonial that start wit trading, then became into a big War, that's that called sheep hairy wolf. Although Dutch nation’s strength is very big but it can be break by the blaze spirit from Indonesian and the boys.
